See, told ya I'm almost finished the 28 30:

I am using Rowan Magpie Aran I picked up at the local thrift store for about 2 bucks. Not bad. Wish I would have known the first skein I used was a different dye lot. The collar is slightly darker than the rest of the sweater. Sigh.
I ordered some of Knitpicks yarn to swatch and see what they are like:

I've recently discovered knitting podcasts and now have more than I will ever need downloaded to my iPod touch. It has made walking and sitting on the train to work much more enjoyable and quicker. I didn't think I would enjoy them, but I do.
For years my husband has tied the girls' skates, but now my older one can do her own, as well as her sister's. See:

Very cool 28Thirty there. I am starting to eye up this pattern. That's so cool you found the Magpie Aran at a thrift store. I may have to remember that for the future when I roll past the one in town.
