Knitting Up A Storm!

Tuesday, November 22, 2005

Look what I'm making next:

How cute are these? Not sure if my older girl will like Tinkerbell, as she prefers boy oriented things. Alas, cross stitch kits usually are more girly, so this will have to do. At least one of the girls will be thrilled - at least for 30 seconds.

Knitting news? I have lots of baby. I cast on for Bob from Knitty.com, then the Essential Striped Sweater and then the Flower Basket Shawl. Bob went into the WIP basket, I;m about 1" into the ESS and I'm about to start the 2nd of 7 repeats of the FBS of the Lower Basket section. Woo freaking hoo. Maybe I'm out of my knitting rut and I'll knit something that is successful? Maybe, just maybe.

I also need to start an ear flap hat for a special someone and a 2x2 rib scarf like this one made by Brenda for The Chops. Read the post, it is quite funny - The Chops. Hee Hee Hee. Thanks for the laugh Brenda.

I think I'm going to join this KAL. It should help get my ass in gear to finish the hand knit Christmas gifts.

Have a good day folks.
