Knitting Up A Storm!

Thursday, October 13, 2005

Not much knitting to report. I did finish the purse and a purple/orange fluffy scarf. I'll put pictures up once the bag is seamed. I knit the scarf as it reduced my stash by 3.5 balls. That means 12.5 balls were knit up in the last week. My goal of owning 200 balls is getting closer. (I know 200 balls sounds like a lot, but it doesn't look like I have that much. If you haven't counted your stash - count it and you will be totally amazed of your total).

BTW - I;m going here this afternoon. Lets pray there is nothing interesting to buy.

The next projects won't reduce the total by that much, but at least I'll have a mini poncho and ribby shell to wear. I guess before I start these projects I should finish Chris' socks. The first one is done, and only a bit of the ribbing on the 2nd. Got to finish that sock.

I'm not sure why I'm making him wool socks. He really doesn't like them. He will only wear them in -20 degree weather while shovelling the drive way. Which I hope is not arriving anytime in the near future. But at least they will be done in plenty of time.
Have a good one folks.
