Knitting Up A Storm!

Hockey update - J played her first game on Sunday morning and scored a goal! Wow! I am so happy for her. And was she ever proud of herself. On to knitting...

Knitting is such a great hobby to be fickle. I am so organized in all areas of my life, but when it comes to knitting, I don't have to stick to a plan. Unless I feel like it of course. I can knit what ever I feel like. I can make a list of things I want to knit next and knit them in any order I want. Or scrap the list and make another one. My goal is always the same, just the route to accomplish that goal changes.

I started Flora from knitty for M's teacher and a fleece artist scarf in a red blend for J's teacher. These will be Christmas gifts. Easy to knit, nice to give.

My secret project is the Klaralund in Bernat Denim for a family member. This family member sometimes reads my blog, so I'm not saying who I'm knitting it for. Not much progress, only one of four pieces is done. I promptly cast on for the 2nd square so when I felt like knitting, I could just go ahead and grab it. Pretty mindless knitting, which as we all know is great.

That is where I stand. Have a good one.
