Knitting Up A Storm!

Friday, October 28, 2005

Flora is an easy knit, but for the life of me, I can not figure out the Twisted Loop stitch. I finally googled it and was directed to the creator's blog - Simply Crafted. She kindly posted pictures of each step. Haven't tried it yet, but the steps pictured look easy. We will see.

Knitting is progressing somewhat slowly, but when you have 3 WIPs, nothing gets finished quickly. Once Flora is done (maybe this weekend), all that is left is the Klaralund (half way done the back) and then the scarf for J's teacher. The scarves are Christmas presents, so I do have a fair amount of time to finish, but I would like them done now, so I am not rushed in December. Planning ahead, my friends is the key.

Chris is home on Sunday and the girls and I can't wait to see him. I guess the saying "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" is quite true.

Have a great weekend folks.
