Knitting Up A Storm!

Monday, May 02, 2005

Thanks for leading me to Knit n' thyme. I've ordered the Phildar Famille Spring 2004 issue and I hope to have it in my hot little hands before I leave for:

The Maryland Wool and Sheep Festival.

I leave this Thursday after the family birthday dinner for my oldest who is turning 6 years old. She has asked for a diary with a lock on it. I can't believe it. Apparently 6 year old girls have secrets. Go figure.

Knitting news? I finished the little raglan cardigan and started a matching hat for my nephew. It is just so cute. I can't wait to give it to him. I've started a pair for wool socks for my brother in law, a scarf for next winter and a Fleece Artist scarf for my sister in law. I've decided to throw caution to the wind and break my 'one project at a time rule'. I must say I like living on the edge.

Ribby Cardi - I finally bought a zipper and it is 2" too freaking short. Crap. Now I have to back and find a 24" one. I wanted to wear it to the MW&S festival, but I guess that's not happening.

Well that is all folks - have a good one.
